Eleven Graves Series won’t just be a trilogy anymore

Eleven Graves Series

Eleven Graves Series aka EG wasn’t a product of an overnight thought amalgamated with ready access to a laptop. Yes, originally it was just a thought, but I spent many years refining the idea to do justice to the characters that I had been developing in my mind. But I never wrote anything on paper till late last year. It gave me a sense of comfort that I could easily revamp and perhaps change the checkpoints without altering the ultimate destination. I knew the beginning, I knew the ending, I had to get there in the most logical way without destroying the characters that would help me get there.

When I thought of finally writing it, I planned to write three books.

Eleven Graves Trilogy. I don’t know, but it seemed fitting to the concept and the storyline. As I have added more and more elements to the entire plot in my mind, I realized it would be a daunting task to bring home the ship which was now stranded in the middle of a massive ocean increasing in volume every second. Now that I have started writing, and I’m in the middle of the second book, I know that a trilogy at this stage would mean incomplete and improper recognition to the characters, old and the new. There’s so much to be told in the story which spreads across an entire decade in terms of series of events during the time in which the series is set.

Therefore, I have decided that Eleven Graves Series won’t be a trilogy anymore.

With the content that I have in my mind, and the number of words it takes to do justice to the sequence of events and characters, EG can’t be a trilogy anymore.

EG will be a full series (Pentalogy) spanning across five books, at least.

As you, my readers aka my favorite people in the entire world, probably have understood from my writing style in the book, I don’t tend to exaggerate for effect. Every line in the book is there for a reason. So squash your concerns about content dilution 🙂

P.S.: Updates about Book #2 will be shared later in the week. Hope you love the Eleven Graves Series as I try to release it as soon as possible. Hopefully, Book #2 should be out by Fall. 🙂
